Special Notes: Ruby supports a Cutthroat and Kokanee fishery. The size for the Cutthroat is usually about 1 lb. but there are reports of them reaching to 3 lbs. Spring, fall and winter are the best months for fishing. Consult your regulations as there are special restrictions. A spawning channel was constructed in 1968 on the lake outlet. Ruby is a very popular summer lake providing vacationers with excellent swimming areas and water skiing. Closed all year at the outlet bay within 100m of Ruby Creek. Wild trout/char daily quota = 2(none 40cm or more).
