Large Fraser River Chinook start showing up in late spring and are best from June through mid-August. Blueback action starts in June. Mature Coho are around in good numbers from July through September. Large Northerns are best from mid-September through October.
By August, just as the Chinook run is showing signs of slowing down, millions of Pink and Sockeye salmon start appearing. Salmon fishing for both Sockeye and Pink will continue until early to mid-September. Chum salmon usually show up after the Sockeye and Pink run and can be fished well into November.
