Special Notes: The extensive, indented shoreline of the lake makes Chehalis a boater's or fisher's paradise. There are numerous coves and bays to explore and fish. Although most of the lake is very deep, the areas around the south end, where it is shallower, are often very productive. Gang trolls and worms have been found to be very effective for Dolly Varden; some reaching up to 12 lbs. Where the river empties into the lake at Skwellepil Park, is a favourite spot for trout to be taken from shore or boat. Fishing may be restricted during periods of logging. Tributaries closed all year.
